A Very Special Passport Day in the USA!

Jada got her first passport!
Miami Passport Party
My friends at the US Department of State have confirmed that the 5th Annual Passport Day in the USA will go down on Saturday, March 9, 2013.  In short, that means no appointment is necessary to get your first passport or passport renewal.  Just show up (with the proper documentation and fees) and voila! - you'll get your passport in the mail in no time!  Now how cool is that?

Last year, I helped facilitate site visits for travel and lifestyle bloggers that wanted to get a behind-the-scenes glimpse into the entire "passport process" (and got an unexpected award as a result).  This year, I'm doing something a little different:

CALLING ALL TRAVEL
AND LIFESTYLE BLOGGERS
IN MAJOR METROPOLITAN AREAS!

If you are a travel &/or lifestyle blogger that would like to be a part of The Passport Party Project's goal to gift 100 girls with their first passports and you are available on March 9, 2013 to take an underserved girl and her parents to your local Passport Office, then hit me up!

I'm looking for 20 bloggers (or 10 bloggers that want to empower 2 girls each) who are fully committed to being a part of The Passport Party Project's

Passport Day in the USA Nationwide Passport Party!

I'll make sure you get the fees necessary for the application and a proper passport photo and your volunteer task will be to profile the girl(s) you select and write about her/them on your blog.  More detailed instructions will be given on the Passport Day in the USA Nationwide Passport Party Volunteer Conference Call that will take place on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at 7pm PST.

You in?  (Only the committed need respond.)
