"The Way of St. James" or "St. James's Way" - commonly known by its name in Spanish "El Camino de Santiago" - is the name of any of the pilgrimage routes to the shrine of the apostle St. James the Great in the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in Galicia in northwestern Spain, where tradition has it that the remains of the saint are buried. [Source: Wiki] After a series of life changes and the passing of Eric's beloved mom, on May 5, 2014, Shannon & Eric of 2 Travel Everywhere will hike El Camino de Santiago as travelers with purpose and will be donating 100% of any funds raised during their hike to The Passport Party Project! #grateful These travelers with heart are an EXCELLENT example of travelanthropy in action. I am honored. Please wish them the best and we'll be watching them on their 45 day 600-mile trek that begins May 5. Way to go, you two! Way to go. |
